Accelerator Pedal...

Post by Iceworx »

Rather an odd one this, but how should the accelerator be fixed to the floor? Mines in a bit of a state, looks like its sickoflexed in place and with a pop rivet too..

I have a new pedal from mr baxter.. but should it be screwed, bolted, or pop riveted in place?

Thanks.

Mines pop riveted most of the time - but has an annoying habit of breaking off about once a year (and when the lovely H is driving it). Its held on by a coathanger at the moment (gotta love her ingunuity) until i work out how im going to fix it permanently. I think its going to involve pop rivets then a mig welder

My rivets broke. Slid two bolts downthrough from the top and captive nuts underneath. A bit fidly but secure now.
