hi/ had this same problem.
it was not the pump, but holes in the fuel pipe(the one that goes to carb inlet)was a small intermediate pipe on mine??.(block one end and blow into pipe..you should hear air leaks)

also be carefull of gsf pumps/ the inlet/outlet pipes are sometimes in wrong place and foul the air filter.
(took mine back for refund)
hope this helps.

veraT25(cardiff) :ok

check pump by hand //immerse in petrol and see if it puts out fuel

Hi,hope you two are well.make sure that your fuel filter isn't blocked before you replace the fuel pump.undo the pipe on the engine side of the filter and make sure it is flowing freely. :ok

hi check the pin has not fallen out of the fuel pump arm have had this happen to a van when using a euro car parts fuel pumps?

should be easy to check while in situ failing that undo the two 13mm nuts holding the pump in place and operate by hand that should tell you if pump is pumping or not
