Hello everyone . I have a worn pinion nearing in my gearbox and have been all over looking for a number . The only number stamped on thw box is 29 098 can anybody help ? It has an ealy n/a 2.1 but need to know what gearbox will fit . Had the offer of a five speed but would rather keep to 4 . Can any one tell me the box codes that will fit or are best options ?

code is stamped on case about 4 inches below the reverse switch housing
4 speed 2.1 boxes are fairly rare but the 1.9 boxes will do fine there's a table of the codes on brickyard
