Full rebleed after fitting heater valve?

Post by Cruz »

Fitted a new valve and had a faux pas where I lost about 0.5 to 1 litres of coolant...maybe less, its hard to judge

do I need to do a full system rebleed or will the heater system bleed to the header tank before the thermostat opens up to let the air into the full cooling system?

is there a quick fix......I suspect not

Id just drive it and top up as required, system is self bleeding for that amount of air
1L is not alot, syatem takes 16L, keep the heater on, i know its hot as a firemans pants but thats where the air will be
