anyone else have comment/experience?

Syncro style breather on a 2wd, worth doing for the sake/benefit/negligable cost? :ok

VW have been fitting the breather there since they started making tunnel transmissions in 1960, never been much of a problem.

unless you park a*** up on a real steep drive all the time even an overful box doesn't blow much oil over the exterior and there isn't much case material to machine a m10 fine thread into nin the 2wd end case
