hmm often its a case of making a repair part to cater for worst case scenario excepting the webs and such when in that case a whole bracket would be a better idea

Yes.. agreed.. for universal repair part.. a plate of the biggest area would be the focus... :ok

Should be in for MOT today or tomorrow..
few other jobs completed also.. hence not updated this thread..

Bit of paint, radius rod replaced, lower arm refitted and upper wishbone bushes changed and refurbed.. (pic taken part way through reassembly)

And prev "refurbee" of the left wishbone had managed to lose one of the eccentric washers............

And fully reassembled.. and van passed MOT yesterday afternoon.. No advisories... :ok :ok :ok

All done and delivered back to the customer.. van drives really well again.. not creaks and groans or clonks and squeeks.. a few other issues sorted too.. customer very happy as couple of the isues would have let her down badly on the holiday to scotland next week.....
