Does anyone know what size fan belt I need for my 1.9dg petrol engine. I can't see the size in it and it looks like it could do with changing before our jolly in august.

Re: Fan belt size?
Cheers Buddy, Think it might be easier to take it off and match it up.

Yes, if you can get hold of both types of replacements this is a good way to do it. Keep in mind that your belt will have stretched a bit in use, and note where the alternator clamp bolt is in relation to the slot in the adjustment bracket - if you are near one end or the other this will give you an idea whether you could cope with a longer or shorter belt.
I went through this a while ago when I had a broken alternator bracket (see this thread), and I think it became clearer as to what determines the belt length you need.
Measure the length of the bracket that supports the alternator. If it's 180mm you probably need the 1075mm belt, and if it's 200mm you probably need the 1100mm belt.
