T25 Diesal Pump

Another problem, my pump leaks and it stinks. Been told about £500 to have it re built, any other suggestions cheers

Your only options are new outch! Or second hand from a reputable breakers, either of which will be particularly cheap however you will know it works.

Which engine do you have?
1.9D (AEF) pop-top. Aaaaahhhhh........that's better.

You need to be more specific.
It is very difficult even with the crystal ball to form any opinion on what could be wrong and which direction you can go.........
Vehicle spec
Pump model
Where on the pump is it leaking etc.......

Hi engine is 1.6 TD but not sure what pump and not sure where leak is coming from at mo but will have another look tom cheers

You could convert to a golf gti engine easily in that budget.
You could try club 80-90 and t25 club on Facebook there are a couple of vw scrappies on there that might help. Vagtech on fb seems to be helpful.

The best way to go at the moment is to clean off the pump, take a few pics and post here via photobucket, and see if the leak is coming from the top, front or back of pump where the injectors come out, then we can point you in the sort of right direction.
