I'm changing my fuel tank as it has started leaking at the top somewhere and is in a bad state around the edge, so thought id do the whole lot whilst its out.
As i've not dropped it yet, i'm having trouble seeing what I need to order to try to do this in a weekend without grinding to a halt as i've missed something crucial.
I have a list of :
breather seal
Breather pipe
gasket ring
grommets
sender seal
vent valve ?
fuel neck seal
(obviously the tank)
Anyone advise of the pipe diameters and lengths that i'd require ?
I have some 5.5mm ID from doing the pipes visible on the expansion tanks but not sure if this used throughout. there seems to be a lot that are only 0.5mm different so i'm not sure of measuring these accurately either.
Any advice appreciated. Even if it means getting the old one off and then ordering all the kit !
Cheers
