I've done 500 miles on my Elite engine and I'm a happy camper. They were a week late delivering the engine to Phil Miller who fitted it for me...he also sorted the slight oil leaks it came with. Poor communication from Elite but the engine seems good enough.

well nearly 1500 miles later and all's great! 21MPG on gas no leaks no problems at all! I'm not convinced she's any better up hills, but she ticks along at a steady 60 most places and that's a great improvement. we're off to Southwold next Sunday for a few days then up to a small place just outside of Cromer in Norfolk. :ok

Cromer is awesome! Lots to do there! My engine is running fine too 12 months later, started first time every-time even on those frosty winter mornings.

And the 21 mpg at the moment is all short trips, less than 15 miles each way
