Looking good Mine has the same top too, didn't like it at first but it's really grown on me, the young un loves her "bedroom" and the missus no longer wants a tin or pop top as it wont have the same space or storage potential. Good choice to keep it.
If there's no oil under it then there's no oil in it.

Re: some photos of my van....
did you refit the seals?
if they were new then you need to compress them and cut a bit longer as they do shrink back a bit over time
what have you done inside up top

The previous roof Had no windows and was quite dark and we'd also spoke about changing to a pop top, but then we'd have to find a home for all the junk (useful) stuff
Decided to stay with high top but get one with windows!!! Happy days

Thats a good tip ....... i Used the old seals, and put the locking trim in the fridge for 10 mins, they popped straight in no problemsmetalmick8y wrote:did you refit the seals?

The roof came with blocks glued in and I'm currently in the middle of sorting it

Re: some photos of my van....
Thanks again for the kind comments... The black window frame was time consuming for my mate to do, but well worth it i think

The van looks fantastic. That is a great idea on the exhaust. did you have to re-work the insides of the silencer to do that?
