Syncro versus ????
I have well and truly caught syncro fever, and thoroughly enjoy the vehicle and the banter on here.
Before Christmas I managed to get a short spin out in a Pinzgauer.
Got to say it felt great, very tight box, handled well at speed over potholes etc etc.
Limited space inside, no where near as much as a panel van, but none the less very tempting ( if I could find a diesel one cheap enough)
Just wondering if any one out there would swap their syncro. And if so what would they swap it for??
Rich

Re: Syncro versus ????
I often have a look on EBay or Auto Trader to see what else I could have spent my money on instead of my two Syncro's. RS6, 911 ect. But in reality I couldn't afford the depreciation. Although I'm sure they would be fun for a week or two.
My caravelle has to be the most practical vehicle ever. I use it as my daily hack, abuse it off road and go on holiday in it. What else comes close?

Re: Syncro versus ????
I've no idea what you lot are on about but was talking about this (different vehicle that is) just the other day.......
The only other vehicle I'd go for is a RangeRover Sport or a old chrome heavy Merc, both V8's before they become illegal!!
While some classic cars are more beautiful (& too expensive) and the 911 more track fun (love to do a road-trip to the Nuremberg ring in one, Top gear stylee).
Pound for Pound the T3, 2wd or 4wd, are unbeatable.
