I'll take that as a compliment :)

Thought Pete was taking the odd crafty look in my direction as he was working away with the pliers...

Genuine cad-plated locker door stay that stuff - wonder if I owe him a replacement :?:

Where's all of the pictures that were being rattled off when we were driving the river?

I'm sure there were a couple of people snapping away there....

I took some footage with Rodger's(?) video camera but neglected to take any pictures by the river until we all wandered up to the cool bit to watch the recovery.

A view of part of the campsite from half way up...
Image

Mark smacks my front panel; I then smack it even harder, Aidan managed it clean, Russel did too the first time, but not the second
Image

Repaired Sunday night, sortof... thanks Russel, for the indicator and the encouragement (took me a little longer than you, but hey )
Image

CJ takes picture of Pete getting a bit near to a Dokas critical angle and the craggy edge... a beautiful spot where we played under dappled shade. Shouts of 'lunch is ready' were studiously ignored for half an hour or more 8)
Image

Julia takes a welcome paddle...
Image

Lewis laughing at the ease the RRS drops over the craggy edge (or posing for the camera?)
Image

Russel astutely takes a lot more care of his red'un, but climbs down safely and exits stage left (after an unscheduled 3-point turn)
Image

Doug - proud owner of both T3 and T4 syncros, drove his T4 Syncro effortlessly up the easier route, and down the difficult one Saturday evening..
Image

We find another interesting road over to the West on Sunday night, Sam finds his rear slipping off the dry, dusty track and stops to take stock of where he might end up - then drove it out safely (with slightly raised adrenalin I should think)

Image

Jenny doesn't look at all convinced about that route - does she?
Or was that a crunched mint giving her bad toothache..
Image

A fine salad day picnic is provided by Aidan on our loadbed... and a better spot on a scorching July Monday doesn't exist !
Image

Tell me this isn't an ancient trackway - yet another idyllic route we drove on Monday. The valley to the right looked like a lambs' paradise :)

Russel clears the deadwood, CJ edges through (a very tight spot )

Is it me, or did that singlecab actually bend in the middle to get around the tree?

Image

That's a true-er representation of the angle - it was still enough to have the rear wheel almost off the ground
