Done a bit today on "Nursie", taken out the substantial stretcher "table", the third single rear seat and the white drawer unit attached to the bulkhead. It looks so big inside now. Think I am going to have the lpg tank mounted longwise on the right side and build a cover over it. Then I can make a removeable sink/cooker unit to fit over that. The spare wheel will be hidden in the rear right side upright in a wardrobe. Am a bit worried about fitting a rock & roll bed to the angled rear bulkhead as the petrol tank is very close! Dont want to have to remove the tank as its a gearbox engine out job as you all know. So looking at ways to mount so I dont have to drill the bulkhead. Any ideas? Got a "tick" on the engine when accelerating or driving hard, but having listened to the video on utube taken in 2012 at Vanfest, it was there then as well. Maybe nothing to worry about. Looking at the underside of the van, I want to clean it off and paint with something to stop corrosion, chassis paint maybe, any ideas? Probably do the suspension parts as well. It makes it easier to clean mud off. Will also paint the engine block and sump at some time. Would hammerite work on the sump, it obviously gets hot but not very hot?
