Remove the gates, seats bar the drivers seat, engine and prop protection and you'll be a long way there.

Then put them back after :D

not that easy it has to be intact but all the bash plates will be taken off and the stereo and speakers , rubber mats and any insulation then i will change the rear gates for a one piece 2mm aluminium wrap around style and see how fat it is, i think just getting a bit of high pressure water into the cross members and sills will probably shed the first 20 kg
i´ll post some before and after weights as i go

Ha ha, the browser spyware noticed you have two syncros and are doing a scooby install, going for broke!
The advert that came up for me was RSPB, must have noticed I bought a green lane and am planting trees!

Clowns on the left and right, get what you vote for, or get it anyway, they are only there to rob you, or lock you up.

Cutting the weight down is an excellent idea that deserves a good long thread,
demountable rear end?
convertible roof?
exhaust out the side?
no carpets or sound deadening?
Sounds just like my old unimog!

I would definitely try to get under the weight to save that much money, every year...
