A pair for me please. Van is having Andreas springs fitted in two weeks time and these would go well with them. Currently running a rubber spacer, so for a 16" petrol van I'd replace rubber spacer with the angle adjuster yes?

the andreas springs are thicker and don't fit in the ally spacer, thats why mine aren't fitted at the moment. The pigtail reccess would need to be bigger

I dont think the tails on the spring will match the cut out on the ally spacer Patrick. You might be best just using some thin chopping board to stop wear on the top of the trailing arm. The original spring set up would benefit from the ally VW spacer but due to the locator being recessed it only gives you 10mm lift at the arm/spring though you wouldnt really want any more lift with Andreas springs anyway I guess. If the Andreas springs sit outside the cut out groove and I expect they do you will probably be looking at a 20mm lift at spring/trailing arm that would probably give you a 30mm ish lift from center of wheel to under side of wheel arch especially as your engine doesnt weigh much.

I have been getting pretty familiar in this area over the last couple of days,

Hope this helps,

if anyone wants some, let me know. the more the merrier obviously, but if we assume that the numbers will be small, they will be £40 / pair plus VAT plus shipping which wont be much as they are quite light. i will check the price.
If we can find 10 people who want them they will be £30/pair etc.
Great....Put me down for two pairs please (the camper's are knackerred too)

The camper's are MV but better than nothing.

When do you think you will be able to get them made?

Many Thanks

I've searched the internet for these...... They are as rare as rocking horse pooh...... Grab while you can IMHO. I am going to Devcon the ones Ive got until these are supplied...... But don't hold out a lot of hope. Although Devcon is good, (I've repaired plenty of kit at sea with it) it's not as permanent.

Finally got the Seikel Arms fitted and very happy with them, very well made.

I built up the original end plates with Aluminium Devcon which worked really well and much better than I'd hoped but would still like the the new cast ones when they are ready.

Dai I now have the original two 16" trailing arms to donate to your collection, please PM me and we'll arrange how I can get them too you.

So I'm holding the new 16" ones, Simon TMT must have Aidan's new 14" pair.

Hotpod, you're well into this already and your foundry is local (I have to add 15-20 miles to a regular 150 round trip) so I think I'll bow out and leave it to you. I've got too much on my plate that needs finishing without another product development...

All yours to carve!

Nope.. I don't have Aidans :rollin
I bought a set of new vw TD ones and the 16" ones some years ago..
The 16" ones are much thinner than TD ones.. and don't provide any usefull lift.. yes.. would adjust the seat angle..
TD ones are installed on my doka.. with the thin nylon protector 16" ones are in a box somewhere.. unused...
Both the syncro and 2wd I have, have the rubber isolator installed on top of the spring.. that's there to take out noise and support the pigtail on the spring..
