Mechanically it was very good.

It went for £8100 the last time it was on eBay in August:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-VOLKSWAGEN ... 690wt_1285
It seems strange that it changed hands in March and August already this year, also the current photos are the same as the previous eBay ad.
There is something very odd with this seller, they have three vehicles for sale currently on eBay and they all give very different reasons for sale.
Karmann ghia:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/vw-karmann-gh ... 3f2ad193d5
Sale reason: The seller hires out campers and state ‘can`t bring myself to hire her out on a self drive basis, she is too pristine, wouldn`t get a wink of sleep!’
T25 campervan:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vw-T25-camper ... 3f2b9524c1
Sale reason: No reason given, but the seller states ‘Will take Beetle/Camper as we need another project.’
Syncro
Sale reason: The seller states ‘the only reason I am putting it back on the market is my financial situation has changed, no other reason.’
This all seems very odd to me.

I've driven a 2.5 scooby double cab and I'm sure my westy would beat it to 80mph. Mario said you camper had more power than mine.

I know the guy whos bought it. Also owns a very cool 67 Splitscreen panel van. Dont think he paid anywhere near the asking price though.
Cheers
