Hi,
Have you tried connecting black plugs from idle stabalizer together? my dj did this recently and would not start when plugged into unit(white box between coil and black fuse box left handside engine bay)

Thanks, yes tried that.

Tried new dizzy cap, rotar and leads - nothing.

Double checked the spark from coil to earth - and no spark this time :shock: Will try a new coil but not sure which one, haynes list two types, any pointers???

Thanks for all your helpful replies, I've finally stopped scratching my suede!

It was the TCI module (last thing I tried).

I've attached a pic of the inside if anyone is interested, it was the bond wire which had detached itself within the module (just under the red arrow).

Choked up?
Whip the plugs out, wire brush, dry off in the oven.
Check HT leads with a meter, 6k ohms or there abouts. 2k for the king lead.
Gap plugs to .7mm or. 6mm if it's been ruined, sorry, converted to run on gas.
