Front Shocks

I am currently replacing my suspension components with powder coated items and poly bushes. My front shocks are a bit past it and I need to get replacements before the rebuild. Any advice? It is on my show pony VR6 syncro which doesn't do any serious offroad work. I am after a sportier ride on road. I have the AVO adjustable shocks on the rear which are fine performance wise but the finish is down right disgraceful . They were expensive and after 1 year the finish was crap after two the finish horrible. I am hoping they will clean up and a coat of paint will sort them out. I don't want to use AVOs again.

I have looked on Brickys and he is selling Trailmasters. Are these any good and do they hold up in the finish department? Any other suggestions? My van is raised but is currently using standard 14" shocks.

Thanks in advance.
