2.1 DJ RHD syncro exhaust required - suggestions?
Hi all,
As above I am trying to get my hands on a full exhaust set for my 88 bus. It is currently in the garage following an mot failure for this reason with the old exhaust removed. Can anyone suggest a supplier that 'hopefully' will have one in stock?
Many thanks,
Neil

Brickwerks stainless system without doubt
They even stock silencer straps and brackets should you need them.
Only problem is you'll have to wait some time but as Aiden told me 'wait, fit and enjoy'!!
I did and 2 years later I haven't had to even 'show' a spanner to it

probably didn't go for the s/s system, Brickie has the steel stuff as well now, as he's previously posted about, just wasn't all unpacked as they had to make space for all the new stock in the second unit and take on extra help to get it all sorted - the range and choice there is increasing day by day

Re: 2.1 DJ RHD syncro exhaust required - suggestions?
Yep.
As Aidan said.
We've outgrown our old stores and we've taken on another unit next door.
We've taken a month off the workshop to move everything from the small unit to the new one.
I've been on holiday [2 weeks, I've never had 2 weeks holiday before, felt weird, not just while doing this but since I left school!]
Michael has had 2 weeks off also, so this last month has been "interesting"
Now we have a bit more space we've been buying more, including loads of steel "Budget" exhausts.
I call them budget so people aren't under the impression that they are going to last years as they aren't, they are an alternative to our stainless ones which should last years, but the fit is good and they are right money and more to the point I'm probably one of the few that has the syncro specific parts on the shelf in the UK.
You'll notice that there's a few products on the webshop now where you have a choice of qualities.
As always if something turns out to be problematic it will get the chop!
What we are trying to do is work a little differently to others by buying on quality and not price, where some companies will buy X part from so and so because they are the cheapest we try and aim for the OEM first and work backwards from there.
As you know this isn't always possible and some parts are only available from the budget guys, in which case that's what we'll have to stock to be able to offer a more complete range.
Like this.

and this..
http://www.brickwerks.co.uk/shop?page=s ... st+knuckle" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
At least with us, if something isn't of the highest quality we'll tell you that so you know what your getting.
We have a shelf here, it's called "The Shelf Of Joy" that has honestly about 40 items that need to go on the webshop that we have sat here, in stock awaiting photograpy and weighing, all sorts of stuff, things like the one way valve for the diff lock system on the syncro, the new powerflex gearbox mountings for the 2WD, a revised oil cooler.. just loads of "stuff"
Simon.

Tell me when you have the money.
Postage may have changed by then, running low on some parts already.
If you want it in a few weeks I maybe into another batch, and with the Euro being up and down at the moment the price maybe different.
