Hi

I just bought a pair of mirrors off fleabay, when I took the old ones off I noticed when holding them up my head is bigger in one than the other!

The one with my head is smaller is the right hand mirror (im driving a LHD westy)

When I put the new mirror on the right side it makes everything look magnified?

Only the old & new left hand mirrors match!

I had to go back to the old set, have I bought in error or am I going mad!

I think you will find most right hand mirrors of the later variety are magnified to aid you when overtaking.

If it was the other way round with the left mirror magnified you would have a tendancy to 'chop up' those who you have just overtaken.

should the mirrors not ne concave or convex, cant remember which?

Concave is equal to 'wider angle' >>>> see more

Convex is equal to 'magnified'
