The engine is a straight swap (the 1.6 is a CT by the way) for a 2.0 CU code engine. Ideally the box should be changed to ensure the ratio's are suited to the engine, but unless someone can advise a valid reason otherwise, this could be done at a later stage if money is tight or a box not available.
Wiring & fuelling is straight forward for average DIY mechanic, the heater pods which connect the heat exchangers to the heater ducts on the van will be needed for the 2.0 engine. (The "pods" on the 1.6 are integral with the heat exchangers remember).
