:lol: got a westy california,picked it up today, whilst going over the gauges for the fridge/cooker/heater, was told i need a special adaptor to fill the under floor tank in this country :shock: , it's ok on the continent it fits straight to the tank. Is this true and were do I get one, many thanks, plus think I'll take my lady camping this wkend, anything on other than volksworld? :wink:

two screwed together works on some of the wessie tanks , look at the filler , even better post up a piccie , only say this cos blurb popped around t'other day and his cal westy has a different filler ,so he will need a different adaptor that screws on the outer rather than the inner

or try ebay for the adaptors

register with photobucket (it's free) upload the pic to them...

then copy the [img] code that they provide for your pic

paste the code in the message reply box on 80-90

:) it's def a screw in type, the cap screws into it, have looked on the gasure link, think its the second one. will post photo later.

Gasure no longer sell or recommend the Acme type adapter as they don`t seal properly half the time.

If you look at your Westy filler, in the centre of it will be a threaded hole that the convertor (picture at top) screws into, you buy two of these so they screw together to make an extended convertor, you screw this into the westy filler and then have enough length on the adapter to get the gas filler nozzle on. Worked fine on my Club Joker :)

not on the one blurb has on his cal westie , no thread at all in the middle
