Has anyone ever done this without the use of an inverter. My thinking is some kind of voltage regulater to step the vans 12V down to 8.5V. Know doubt Mocki will come in on this one somewhere along the way. I know I can set it up in the conventional way when I'm hooked up, but am looking at the possibility of little Ollie using it on route to Cornwall.

Yes u can get a little pack that just goes in the place of the transformer on the slimline. I'd give u the link but am away touring so not at my pc. If u have a old fat style ps2 you have to change the power board thingy inside the ps2 to make it run of straight 12v dc.
Carlsberg dont do campers.......... but if they did they'd build the T25
