Just Kampers windscreen rubbers, any good ?

Post by wasserleaker »

Howdoo, got a slightly leaky windscreen rubber seal which wets drivers side [ left side in my case!] carpet which is starting to smell a bit mouldy, any one got any comments on the ones just kampers sells, or is original the way to go? is it a pig to do, and best left to a windscreen fitter?
ta for any comments . . . . .Wasserleaker.

I left mine to a fitter because if they do crack it then it won't cost you any thing.....get some quotes
the rubbers are available at lots of VW shows at very good prices :D

Thanks for the replies Bilbo and Rev, a bloke not too far from me advertises his windscreen services, so i might go for the J.K. bundle discount pack of all rubbers on the bus and see how much he'd want to fit em, the back one leaks v slightly too. some bad rust bubbles on the sliding door along bottom edge of the rubber seal need some attention pretty soon too!
