Re: 1990 Singlecab II
Nice, looks like a pretty solid unmolested example that hasn't been worked to death/abused.....good base to start from

Cheers guys, it’s certainly far-far better than the last one (1986 Singlecab I). Took ages to find one in this colour, condition & petrol. I saw some real rotters. Exciting times, can’t wait to get started. No rush this time, I’ll just plod along with this one, I don’t want to finish it too quickly. Someone suggested some 80’s racing emblem on the doors, like Gulf Oil or Martini-Porsche Racing, which I liked. Similar colour schemes. There won't be any paint work being done, so a wire wheel and red primer will be its lot.

Door graphics, I’ll get both and we can see which one suits it best.

Re: 1990 Singlecab II
Fantastic idea & both would look great although the Gulf one could be the winner as that lighter blue could blend in more with the faded colour.
Picture looks good with the suspension dropped as well. Nice set of split rims, lovely on this twin cab:

You know what Martin, not sure how long it’s been unused, but she looks pretty tidy mate.

13 years without an MOT. But, yes ... it’s not too bad. A few battle scars and that’s ok.

It had a key in the ignition and I found the fuel cap key and glove box key in the ash tray, so that was a nice bonus. Put them through the dishwasher and had a tidy up with a new keyring. Locker boxes work ok too with ignition key.

Re: 1990 Singlecab II
The best and most exciting part of getting a vehicle like this is the first rummage around! When I bought my Rover to restore it was such fun. It was an American export model from Long Beach and I found all sorts of stuff including parking permits for the airport, coins, and a USA police badge!!
