I’ll be having a dabble tomorrow, tighten up the heads, get it up to temp, get it to run nicely.
Some critters been having a nibble on me HT lead!

Started ok, once it had pulled the fuel up.

Are you dreaming again Martin, did you forget the big holes that need attention before the bling?

Just read through all of this over a few days.
Good work and a great project.
In respect of your bodywork, as well as the good advice already given, have you considered enrolling in an evening class at local college? As well as learning, they can be worthwhile to use the nice equipment to fabricate parts, obviously you can’t take the project there but can make up, top hat sections, sills, stiffeners etc. To a very good standard.
Also have a look over on Migwelding.co.uk you will find some good advice on what welder to buy, and to avoid, there’s also classifieds where folk are sometimes selling off good S/H kit.
Good luck with the project, keep your chin up
Regards
Frank

Getting ahead of myself but this stuff looks awesome. Tint-able to a colour code too.

That chipguaed is the stuff I’ve been using. Father in law is in the trade and says he’s never seen a product like it, only product and gun system that gets a factory finish. Available from Kent I think.
