Secondary inner sills are now fitted. My concept, Gary's detail design.
The idea is to increase torsional stiffness of the body (to reduce the chances of seam cracking) by increasing the cross-sectional area of the sills, as well as strengthening the lower B post/sill junction where the slider track is at its widest . Can't do any harm afaiac.

Well, she finally came home on Friday. It's been a long road! I'm still taking stock, working out where to start the refit and without making work for myself.
I think that going from the top downwards, inside to out approach is needed.
So that means first up are: CDL and courtesy light wiring and headlining finishing, B and C post trimming, aircon loom and hardware installation before anything else.
Although if I put the seats in, it will free up a lot of space!
