Just cut and bend the lip at the impress, or there is a better technique?

Yes,that's about it ,clearly scribe the centre of the seam on Both sides then cut leaving about half an inch of metal to lip,
Then cut the rubbish away and hammer and dolly and flatten the seam/i indentation , then simply form a lip

Well....forgot these as pee bucket was acting up
Image
the bulk of the wing was mint and i really dont want to chop it of even though its the uusual and easy way out so I have cut the klocker and let it in,, im prob going to end up making a couple of handed press plates to make these edges and then make them out of decent steel..............
lots of fixings :D
Image
the rear edge as usual gone so removed it and got in with the blaster and
Image
here the inner arch is welded and now i tack up between the fixings
Image
...
Image
i have also welded it on the underside of the arch
Image
product blasted into the seam
Image
...
Image
....

Well
have managed to retain the majority of the osr wing but have removed the arch
Image
can get the blaster in here now,
fit is nice and tight, i will have to remake the front seam edge of the the rear 1/4 buts thats not a big issue
Image
...
Image
outer sill has the seal retainer removed and a new one will be spotted on
Image
so all will be done this week
:D

Well
small repair to the inner and a strip to the rear !/4
Image
ive ran an extra couple of beads down the seam to allow for past grindings out and to give me some metal to work with
Image
all good and weld thru applied
Image
new seal retainer welded on
Image
and both ends made good
Image
arch fitted
Image
ditto
Image
just did a routine yank on the seatbelt anchorages and the drivers side pulled out of the floor ! so a quick repair to that tomoz

Well
Image
leaving this
Image
and i didnt really pull that hard
cut the rot out and left the arch metal short, then a 1.5mm plate with the unf nut welded to it, this is then let into the inner arch
Image
...
Image
....
Image
....
like so
Image
welded in place
Image
next is the bit of the arch that i cut away
Image
...
its sort of self explanatory
Image
quick sand over and its back to OE and safe again
welding all done
mm :D

Well seem to have got well mixed up with the posting order.................
i forgot about the sill closures, to my mind they have to be done as fitting them then completes the sill/floor/side panal as a box structure rather than an open folded assembly. probably semantics but I kind of like the strength it gives this area,
after product have dried and soaked into the seam it gets dosed with Dynax
Image
...
Image
very satisfying stuff :D
Image
first part of closure added as OE
Image
this bit is next
Image
the 2 x 3/4 holes will get blanking grommets in them and allow for further dynax or to assist cable runs etc.
now to find the last 2 picks in the world of peeB
