Dramatic sunset on Friday night, fair weather (if rather breezy), good company, plently of chat, new faces...have I missed anything?
Oh yes! It only rained at night and if you like chicken you could eat yourself to death :D

That eight-wheeler is crazy - you wouldn’t get it along most of the roads you might want to travel.

Glad to hear it went well - unfortunately it wasn't possible for us to make it this year.

That big MAN was rumoured to have a £500,000 build cost and be heading to Africa...

Impressive looking thing but I'd have better things to do with that sort of money.

It's aspires to be the sort of thing ActionMobil do, and will probably be a fine vehicle on open tundra, desert, or gravel highways, plus I'm sure the facilities inside are A1+. I have my doubts however about how good it'll be when it gets into the mountains or big dunes, some of which is down to the camper install. The departure angle is completely spoilt by the garage at the rear, the breakover angle is compromised by the low side storage, it'll be too long for many single track roads and too heavy for many small bridges, and it gives me a shudder to think of trying to reverse it back down a precipitious track. And heaven help you if it breaks down or gets stuck as you'll have a hell of a time getting it on the road again.

I'm with Jim on this - there's much better things to spend £500K on.

Such obscenely ostentatious vehicles scream "take owner hostage and demand a lot of money" to me...
