Greetings. Just wanted to book in for the Event.
I'll be there after a day or so spannering in gearbox land.

For the event, my T3 is a 1990 2.5 WBX Sycro. It's Blue and has 3 knobs with pretty green warning lights in the dash.
No idea what to do with them, but when you pull them all out, everything gets weird.
Any other details needed?

(Ps, I'm coming as a specator, so I can learn something!) No way am I playing, but I'll bring some decent foreign beer.

Mojoh.

FYI I have been promised that the plaque will be finished by the engravers on Friday 16th

Galvanized stake already made and ready

I will be asking for donations to cover just the engraving costs, £75 inc. vat. Any surplus to a suitable charity of Sharon's choosing?

Hi Folks.

Sorry I've been a bit quiet for a while. Bonkers busy in work.

Thats also the reason why I prob won't be able to make it this year, lucky for you lot.

Great idea to plant a tree to remember such a great character that Pete was. I'm sure he would be pleased.

Please let me know how I can contribute in absence.

Hope you all have a great time.

Cheers Rich

I'll be there Sat night, as a passenger in someone else's new toy.
Engine swap project now at month 26 - serves me right for insisting on doing everything myself. Now got moss growing on the tarmac under the van!

Engine and Gearbox went in over the weekend...
Still lots of wiring to put back, water system to plumb, fuel system to plumb, drive shafts to build up, air filter system to install, clutch master cylinder to swap over, bleed both clutch and brake system, MOT to get done, tracking to be done.
Its going to be close... and where am I?
At work.
Great.

Can we move it to next weekend please? ha ha!

So, i was 100% sure i checked that none of the breather valves broke when we installed the tank... turns out one has broken.
Ordered 2, but its looking less and less likely that we will make it in the syncro.
If we bring a load of waffle boards, do you think we will get over the river in a T5? Its not lowered, has pretty big wheels and tyres on it.
Only reason i ask as if we have to camp the other side of the river, evenings will have to be spent at the van as the monitor wont stretch that far.
We might need to be towed out of the field on sunday too... ha ha!
Thoughts?
Cheers

We will drag you in! :ok

Between us all, we could probably manage a bridge over the river!

We camped on the other side of the river on our first year, you can get pretty close to the action and it is flat. Just don't forget your wellies for wading across. I didn't risk my T5 over the river as the tyres couldn't cope with grass which was even slightly damp and i also had atrailer on the back.
