We will bring a load of antipasto - some of which will be gluten free. When will we have an idea of numbers?

Can also bring a two burner camping stove if its needed for keeping stuff hot.

Ok, this is all starting to look good.
So I thought I'd post up a list for quick reference if people are still wondering what to bring

Shaun and Fiona - Cobb pizza
Julia and Roger. - insalata and prosecco
Gary and Sheila. - spag Bol
Ray. - Italian IPA
Irishkeet. - something from a van with no interior
Peteandali. - antipasto
Jed. - something interesting to burn.

Any more?

I guess as far as numbers are concerned, bring a plateful, pan full, bowl full...... Basically enough for a few people. Remember, it's a bring and share gathering, with folks trying a bit of what they fancy. There's always plenty to go round, so don't worry too much just join in and enjoy :D

I don't believe it!!!!
I have spent weeks, weeks and weeks trying to perfect a self invented gluten free vegan cake. The hours I spent slaving over a hot aga with the bloody Bake Off showing in the background mocking me. The comprehensive notes I kept after every effort suggesting things like 'try vanilla' or 'less baking powder'. Finally, last week I produced something borderline edible. Just. So, following another internet robbed recipe I 'drizzled' it with gin.
Hmm....I think American measures may be smaller than ours. Seems improbable I grant you, but in this instance it must be correct.
You know when you dunk your digestive for just that little bit too long? Well it's a bit like that. Exceedingly moist.
Tastes a bit iffy too, but doesn't half give you a warm glow. Anyway, it's in the freezer so I'm jolly well bringing it to AO. Shaun doesn't drink gin and if I eat the whole ruddy thing I'll probably go blind.

You have been warned

Ben and Cathy's cake sounds lovely though

I would have loved to cart half a ton of firebricks down to the show and built a pizza-oven, but I've done my elbow a bit so I think not.. However I will enveadour to bring some handmade bread type items to go along with antipasti etc etc. How much they resemble anything italian remains to be seen !

If any one *is* bringing a pizza oven.. :D .. I can bring extra logs.. let me know.

I should have mentioned this days ago  don't forget your plates, cutlery and glasses.

Also, if anyone has a table they don't mind loaning for the duration of Saturday evening, that would be much appreciated.

Love to join in with this and contribute...but I'm a thick northern grease monkey...my culinary delights don't include Italian generally ( Pizza Hut is as close I get ) so at a bit of a loss for something to bring along...I'm not bringing peroni because it's pish..

Any suggestions?
