Neil, Nick and Jes have been busy planning a green laning event in Kent to take place over the August bank holiday weekend.

We have reserved 15 pitches at Kingsdown Campsite. The costs are £10 per adult and £6 per child, per night. Please do not contact the campsite directly, but click on the flier above for our booking form. Your booking will not be considered definite until your payment is received (in advance).

We are also planning to go out for a pub meal on the Saturday night - it is likely to be in the region of £15 per head. We will need to book this, so please indicate on the booking form if you wish to come to the pub - you will pay for your own meal on the night.

There are no convenient fuel stations on the routes, so please ensure you arrive at the campsite with a full tank of fuel. Also make sure you have suitable tyres and recovery equipment on board.

This sounds great!
I have one question... do you think the hightop will be able to fit down the lanes (height is likely to be an issue)??
Actually, two questions... do you thuink it is wise for a relative newcomer to join in? thats me by the way....

cheers!
Ben

hi ben
i think that i saw you van at brands hatch last week?
we have not done a full reccey at present, the lanes so far would be a bit tight for a high top although possible , the lanes are best suited to pop tops, tin tops and pick ups, but like i said we have not completed or finalised our routes. with regards to experience minimal is needed as we have found nothing thats too challenging to date.
its also quote normal for people to van share on these events as there are normally spare seats in vans.

thanks neil

Will pay up next week after pay day.
Cheers!
Ben

The Devon (Bere Alston) brigade have registered and paid up. Do you need a lift Patrick?

I'm putting out feelers. Not having a van I don't want to take a camping spot, but if there are spare places on the campsite I'm up for a lift and an adventure.

I am up for this one, but no syncro (of course) so just me and my kitbag, kipping under canvas so not technically a pitch required as such. I'll probably drive down to Neil's and abandon the Vito there.

Any chance of riding shotgun/map reading/being Mrs Doyle for anyone?

Ian you will still need to book the camping as they charge per person not per pitch!
