Battling sheared bolts etc for the pushrod tube covers (WBX) to get the underbody protection back on the doka. Should be ready though. Might be very wet and muddy if this blasted rain doesnt stop...

Had a "number" of days on and off, working on the truck.. had only been driven 3 days since Xmas and MOT had run out in Feb..
Couple of small issues cropped up, but had to change the starter as it didn't like its bath.. and as we know a wbx starter change is an a*** of a job.. (deffo a reason to go Subaru in itself  )

All seems good so far..

Have a few drivers and could do with a few peeps for marshalling still (not much to it really, just preventing a poss bump at a couple of spots and keeping an eye out for any peeps walking into the offroad area..)

All donations will be going to Macmillan cancer support, already a good pot from the efforts at Syncropendence (Well done peeps)

See you all there.. :ok

Just got back unloaded and sorted out.
Missed the car wash so have to take the van to work tomorrow to wash off. :D

Thanks everyone again for another great weekend, also we got to drive an interesting off road course and helped a good charity at the same time.

Very many thanks to Dave, Simon, Jim and Jeff for their driving, but thanks in spades to Fiona, Kirsty, Max, Clive, Jenny, Other Jenny, Irish Dave, Gill, Russ, Dutchdude and Daniel (I hope I've not missed anyone) for their tireless work processing passengers and drumming up support to keep us rolling smoothly along throughout the weekend.

Also thanks to everyone who contributed to the all in mass dinner on Saturday, very lovely food.... Nom, nom...

Jeff: hope the engines ok?

Our driveway now looks like the set for a Somme reenactment with tonnes of sticky mud everywhere. And thats just the first wash....

Wow what a weekend. Thanks to all who took part. It takes everyone to make it all work so well. Old and new faces. All make it the envy of all the other van clubs. And we raised loads for a very worthwhile cause. Enjoyed imensly shame about my water problems. Got home with no problems at all. See you all soïon

Hear hear. A great effort, they did the real work, without them we'd have probably managed to raise a fiver.
Have dug buckets full of mud, twigs and vegetation from under the van and there is still buckets more! Didn't get chance to wash it though  All part of the fun, I had a great day, thanks for having me

Great weekend, the weather was very kind for the most part. Thanks for making me so welcome both evenings, really good to see everyone again.

The rice pot has had two doses of hot bicarb solution, I will have to get some cheap cola and dissolve the last of it... then improve my cooking technique!
Third time lucky?
