Re: Devon 2014
Another brilliant Syncronauts weekend. Huge thanks to Clive, Jenny, Roger and of course Dominic for all their hard work.
Great driving fun, followed by lovely fireside evenings.
Looking forward to meeting you all again soon

Few pics, another good meet, there were a few issues but nothing that couldn't be resolved with a bit of teamwork

Re: Devon 2014
Myself, Sally and the dogs had a brilliant time, many thanks to all involved. We arrived impromptu after being adamant we weren't going - blame bucketbabe and winchweight for the incessant nagging
Anyway, we are glad we did as it was our first time taking the van off road and learned a good deal about green lanes , dif-locks , roofracks
Thanks to Baz, Clive and Craig for the Sunday morning mechanics - I know it took longer than it should and I know you'd have rather been out on the lanes - truly appreciated the help and the learning opportunity

Re: Devon 2014
It did take a while to free the difflock but that was mainly due to tequila poisoning !!!!

Yes the lemon tequilla had a 'very slight' 'morning after' effect on me too... hence donning overalls & pretending I was helping.
Good sets of images there everyone. Will see if we can add to them @@

Re: Devon 2014
Ended up doing some cracking (unrecced) Dartmoor Lanes on the Saturday... and moor Dart on Sunday. Friday evening was the normal local circuit with a few laughs thrown in. Thursday night steak and glassawine deal at the Wyndham.
Monday it rained and most people went home... then it stopped raining.
then it started again all Monday night & Tuesday morning till 9. Roger & Julia decamped & left then we did taking advantage of a relatively dry spell.

Re: Devon 2014
Very pleased that everyone had a good time, Clive has asked me to organise the event for next year, so we will be out checking out the lanes in good time and already have eager volunteers to help out.

There's a picture of my fat a***, but none of our van.......
Nice pics though, they capture just how narrow some of those lanes were.

There's a couple in the line ups but no centre stage - whereas I didn't recognize mine at first

Re: Devon 2014
Saturday
Made our way to Dartmoor did a gentle lane through a ford, just in time for lunch at a lovely pub in North Bovey
This was fun - getting a high top and van with roof rack through this new lane
Waiting for the others to emerge
Crossing the narrow bridge into Houndtor Woods
Back into the open

Re: Devon 2014
Sunday
We went back to Dartmoor and started off with some lanes near Ilsington
We had an audience
We ended up at our old favourite Fingle Bridge. Everyone crossed without incident!
The pub missed a trick not serving food on a bank holiday Sunday evening
