Rain here.

I can believe there has been no rain in Wales for 3 weeks!!

I have experienced "interesting" first hand. :run

I've been trying to fix the front locker again this evening. It's perfectly clean around the pin and the switch screws in without resistance. But it still won't engage whilst switch is in.

Or is the little rubber boot torn on the actuator?

Yes.

I don't think so. The actuator is a year old and the pin locates if the switch is out. Would it do this if the boot was torn?

Just wondering if the switch would cause enough resistance to stop a leaking actuator working..does the switch jam the pin is the question really ...if it does and everything is lined up etc it must be a duff switch.

Van all packed, just cloths to sort out.

Just checked the weather on the BBC website, looks like we will be pitching camp in the rain then having two dry days.

Not too bothered as I'm sure we'll all have a great time.

Tom, seems like you're down on vacuum, enough to engage the rod but not enough to lift the switch.

Temporary fix replace the switch with a blank or add more washers, no light but difflock will work. :)
