Re: sailsbury weekend
We had a great weekend with great people!
Thank you to everyone who attended and to Neil for organising it.
The last lane yesterday was really, really fun as was the mud hole today. We ventured back there on the way home and what started as a very clean Doka ended up very muddy and grins all round!
Unfortunately no pics from me as I left my camera at home. Looking forward to Jed's video.

Great weekend. Thanks all.
About 1/2 ton of Salisbury Plains is now on my drive. Think I need to raise my Doka very soon!
Cheers Rich

One way or another an eventful weekend. Good to cruise around with great company. Plenty of breaks for a brew and a beer. Top organisation thanks. Definitely had plenty to think about van wise on the journey home. Wales next gents , what say you !

Re: sailsbury weekend
What a great weekend.
Big thanks to Neil an Roger for arranging the event, Patrick for giving up his driving to navigate us all safely around the plain, Rich and Lee for the Double Dragon, Tom for the Memory Map and Vag Com uploads to my net book, Hil for the cake, Simon for the light and to the kids for being perfectly well behaved and muddy.
Extra special thanks to Patrick again for the CV grease, and Roger for the dry tarp
Highlights for us,
That mad lane on the Saturday and leading the way through the bush,
Lots of stops not just drive, drive, drive,
The mud hole this afternoon was simply amazing, both diff locks engaged and acting childish was really good fun,
Having my first hot shower from the back of the Westy at 6.30am.
Mechanical issues from the group over the weekend,
One lost drop link bush and washer (Simon)
One CV clip (Baz)
One loose brake bolt or something (Roger)
One split front inner CV boot that I knew was about to fail totally (Me)
IMHO the best Salisbury meet so far, cheers guys
Pictures and video to follow.

Gutted I couldn't make it. Had the van all packed and fridge full before I got an SOS from work.

Re: sailsbury weekend
Had a great weekend, thankyou to all who attended, especially Baz for the firewood, bring more next time mate! interesting to find my front brake caliper just sitting there on the disc with no bolts left to hold it in place, especially as we had driven it at least 200 miles with it like that
