No Simon, we took a group photo outside before entering the Falcon's nest, but even the lesser spotted male Crocker absented himself. .. thirsty beast

That'll be the one that I dented the roof on then... silly a*** that I am, trying to go the wrong side of that stump and stuffing the osf wheel into a hole, which then kicked the back end round  I should have payed more attention to the expression on CJ's face when I said that I would try that line!

Great weekend, definitely challenging for the taller vans. I'm glad that Atlantis hasn't got a poptop* or a spring lift after those adventures! Erin's plaits stayed in for 3 days, she was very pleased with them. Thanks Georgia! Good team syncronauts spirit as ever, Craig with a working rear locker at long last, Roger now well on the way to proper running after some gash engine wiring removal and re-work (Weber jetting info now on the way...) All good stuff :D

* Erin has forgotten for now

I shall reserve comment on the Tandemaniacs, other than asking Julia to keep Roger covered up at all times. He'll get sunburn...(ahem) I do like a tandem!

Looking forward to the winching pics...

Managed to shatter my n/s rare electric/heated big mirror  ( Hil's fault ) !!!

However, thanks to Sharon's guidance I have fitted a pair of truck mirrors I've had in my shed for years

Only LT ones ( £70 ) but they do the job nicely :ok

On Sunday, it rained.

No rock scrambles on the Tors in that. Now I can't remember the model of that ultra-rare late Dutch T2 that was out on the moors...the paintjob is a dead giveaway. Deep reddish-brown with 3 broad orange/red/brown side stripes...

Found it!!! Champagne Edition 1 or 2. It had a Devon poptop too.

Image

Quite funky :pimp

I'm clearly falling short on the tweed, wax and corduroy front to be credible in the rural environment

Barely a foot of crumbly-earthed grassed verge hiding an overgrown drain gully, I'm not sure even Roger knows why he pulled over. Completely beached it, daylight under the tyres. Not a scratch though and Clive pulled him out in one, no dramas.
