Hi all, been thinking about fitting some mud flaps to my ir Caravelle, but are they worth it, or just another trap for corrosion?

I have had my van for 8 or 9 years. It had mud-flaps already fitted when I got it. I have not suffered from corrosion around their fitting points.

Got mudflaps fitted (the jk ones - it's from a time before I knew about brickwerks, but they work very well & keeps crud away from behind the wheel arches which has to be a good thing).

Will be fitting the rubber inner wheel arch liners when funds allow (after the sills are sorted

The South African JK ones are better they actually protect your bodywork from gravel rash on the wheel arch edge.

Mine catch the floor as "ethel" is lowered - we get some real "ouch - that sounded nasty" looks when it scrapes on the floor, but they've lasted donkeys years like this

I get the scrape too, but they’ve lasted well and look good on the arches.

I have the hard plastic ones.. I like em.. Cheaper also

Took them off when I rollered the van, cant get them on again now as the fixings have rusted and wrecked.. any ideas anyone. Glue maybe??
