Hi. Looking at getting some sort of visual anti theft devices fitted. What would you recommend. I've been looking at one of those clutch claw pedal locks to start with and add a few other things later.

yes get one of those.
Most people won't discuss security publically but common things are imobilisers trackers steering wheel locks clutch pedal locks vicious dogs and best of all get it off road into secure parking.

In the past I've struggled to get a Disklok to fit my modified lhd stearing wheel. Disklok of themselves weren't interested. I'm ashamed to admit that Gary's common sense idea didn't even cross my mind.
I'll start researching a dayglow bike chain asap.

Thanks for the suggestion, appreciated.

Regards, Max

I rely on living in a cul-de-sac and the thieves having to find reverse gear

Even if stolen I expect to find him at the end of the road because they couldn't turn him round.

How does Mr Troopy feel if he can't park in a cul-de-sac? I'm just back from a months road trip and I'll be off again soon. Although I haven't had chance, I still like the visual and simple idea of a bright bike chain as a deterrent to back up the "other stuff".

When I'm out and about I'm not prepared to carry a wheel clamp. Any other suggestions?
