Hi ther can any one tell me the maximum towing you can pull with a 1.9 petrol engine dg automatic 1984 . Thinging of getting a small caravan for the longer holidays thankyou colin

For comfortable towing I would aim for around 1000 kg

as herb said but first i would get your van on a weighbridge & deduct this from your gross train weight. family pets camper stuff etc.
