Post by sweetpea »

hi

can anyone help! i have alloy wheels on my bus, and the 'centre cap cover' on the driver side has come off, i did manage to get another one but this has also been lost somewhere on the road side :( i have been told that i should really keep it covered or else it will damage my wheel bearings! but any ideas how to keep it on

So long as it has the grease cap on the end of the hub covering the nut/thrust washer etc it'll be fine.

It's not the 'hub' you've lost, that has a brake disc and wheel attached to it. Yes you need to get a replacement grease cap.

Post a Wanted ad in the Wanted Forum, stating the year of your van ... hopefully one of the van dismantlers will happen across you.
