Hi everyone,
I bought a set of steel rims from a Mercedes w124 estate 1244001002, 7J x 15 H2 ET46.
What do I need to do in order to fit them to my camper. Do I need spacers first of all. Secondly do I need to get different nuts to suit radius or tapered nuts? Have I to change the bolts at the rear to longer ones.
If anyone has done this before I’d really appreciate some help.
Thanks

Re: Mercedes wheel fitting
First thing to check is whether they are weight specific for a larger vehicle. Also wheel holes are correct diameter. Mostly 12mm on Mercs. And 14mm on T25.
As they are steels and not alloys, try rear wheel fitment first. Probably wont need longer studs on back unless spacer needed to stop any suspension fouling inner rims.
That's a start

Re: Mercedes wheel fitting
Thanks see attached pictures. From what I can gather 6.5Jx15 ET49.
I read in a old syncronaut thread that the estate sticker means it’s a rated for more weight. I could be wrong.
I have yet to get tyres for them yet as I want to know if and how to fit them first.
Thanks

Re: Mercedes wheel fitting
20mm spacers and small ballseat nuts/bolts
