I have access to a set of 16” Steel Rims - VW Part Number 2K3601027 for VW Caddy / T4 / Transporter
5x 112 PDC
6J x 26H2 ET50

Do these just need the Centre Bore widening from 57.1 mm to 66.6 mm with 20mm spacer?

Is it advisable / safe to have the centres bored out? Any idea of costs?

Wanting 16” to go to high lift suspension springs and AT tyres. Also looking at re-gearing top 2 gears and poss slip diff as running Subaru 2.5 EJ 2.5 with an original 4 speed box, which is rev happy!

Many thanks

Would seem a lot of expense and effort? Thought about 17”? I was looking at steels for a Mercedes GLA which would have a suitable centre bore & offset.

Not sure on load rating. Would be interesting to know the list price in uk on the part number if anyone knows a resource aprt from giving them a ring.

I quite fancy a set but don't think I could justify the cost.

16” wheels are as big as I’d like to fit.

Anyone experience of opening the centre bore up on any wheels? Would it compromise the structure of the wheel?
