RM212 fridge re-ignitor

Post by baj25 »

My fridge re-ignitor has stopped working, it is a Vernitron 407/1/72669/210 and fridge is an RM212.
They seem to be obsolete and unusually google isn't giving me any replacements, though lots of people seem to have had problems with them. Anyone know where replacements would be available from? I know some people have used piezo ignitors, that is Plan B. TIA, Brian

A bit more googling answered my own question. In case it helps anyone else, it looks like a dometic model 679 will do the job, same layout of pins even. I've ordered one, about 80 quid, so hope it does the job!

Hi, I thought that my fridge had a problem with the re-ignitor but it turned out the connections on the switch were corroded. It might be worth giving these a check first.
