CO2 Fire Extinguisher
Trying to obtain small CO2 extinguisher for the van, the only ones I can see online are 2kg and quite large. I've got dry powder and foam but would rather have CO2 on board. Any suggestions for supplier ? Many thanks

I think CO2 extinguishers are generally larger due to the contents and you need more room to handle them due to avoiding skin contact with the base or spout as it is discharged due to extreme low temperature generated. Lidl sell extinguishers sometimes but cannot recall if they were CO2 or powder.

If I was a certain type of person I’d look at my local tip for one. Or better still a green halon extinguisher.

Is that because halon is one of those gases bad for ozone layer

Just offering a bit of advice, older type extinguishers deteriorate over time from the inside out, so if one was bought it could be more of a hazard than a help.
