so overnight upside down, then 24 hours right way up before trying...ok will try that

Just turned fridge back on......keeping fingers crossed but I think its cooling. Just got to be patiant and wait.

If you are trying it on gas first - check that the baffle is in the correct place in the chimney first. After turning it is likely to have been dislodged.

its working again. Many thanks to you all. I took the burner out and the main jet and cleaned them as the gas level was a bit low, then reassembled and turned it upright and hey presto it works and cools. now down to just below zero degrees.

Cool Man, I've only had to turn mine over a couple of times in the past, it seems to be behaving itself now.  I do test it now again during no use periods just to keep itticking over.
