Model And conversion help!

Post by Madgooner23 »

Hi folks, trying to identify exactly which model T25 we have just brought. Got some great info from the westfaliat3 site, but still not convinced. I think is it a westfalia joker conversion. It has a 1.6 Diesel engine, but I don’t think it’s a turbo. Year of registration is 1986. Colour wise, the paint label is really worn and the nearest I can get is the white is a pastel white L90D. Originally I thought the blue was marine, but the only reference I can find is L5H Indian Blau. Any help appreciated! ImageImage

Pretty sure its not a Westfalia as its a right hand drive. Others can correct me if i'm wrong but i'm sure all Westfalia conversions had factory fitted windows. (with the exception of double glazing). May be a Reimo conversion though.

Reimo too. Does it have three open cubby holes at back of twin door cabinets? Rock n roll bed too?

Reference colour matching, best to take van to a paint mixer shop, they maybe able to identify a close enough colour for you by using matching tabs and then knock up a tin of spray paint which could be used in touching up after small repairs.

The roof looks like a side opening one, the furniture is not looks like the westfalia ones, it is RHD - it is not a westfalia that is sure.
The interior is similar to reimo, but the side opening roof is not reimo.
It also could be a homebrew made from different parts.
You can try vwpix.org fro some brochures, but the UK ones are limited.

Thanks for everyone’s input. Yes it’s a side pop up. The only reason I thought is was a westfalia was because of this pic - very similar cabinets!

If it's got a grill, then it's not a Westfalia!
