Westfalia roof bed - runners

Post by QuickBrownFox »

Hello folks really like the look of the westfalia roof beds for a high top. The seem to have a panel either side attached to to high top and the bed rolls out and follows a track in the panel.

I did try searching westfalia bed before posting this and got 5399 returns so I have tried to look before posting.

It seems they are also still using a similar design on transit nuggets so they are still a thing.

I guess you can't buy these separately (a westfalia bed for a t25) and I guess westfalia don't sell parts like these direct to the public?

My van doesn't currently have a roof bed so im looking for nifty ideas. Any other recommendations?

Thanks in advance

Just a thought. Any local bespoke carpenter worth his salt should be able to knock up that bed fixture in a day or two. It is a straight forward and easy design.

Thanks Maxstu.

Maybe when covid settles down I'll go check one out in the flesh and see what it entails. Any other models have clever high top bed solutions or do the others go for straight forward bed boards? No point overcomplicating without good reason just checking out options

Cheers
