Alternatives to carpet lining?

Post by B.J »

Hi,
I have a Syncro panel van camper conversion and the lining (that I fitted) is coming away. I used the right adhesive but didn't clean away enough of the old glue for it to stick - my own fault.
TBH, I never really liked the carpet stuck directly to the metal so I'm asking for advice on alternatives. I have professionally made replacement panels for the sliding door and the rear door and rear quarters but what I'd really like is something for around the windows and posts. What do wesfalia's have? Custom molded lining? Something like the pic would be good but how do you make something like that? I have different size windows too. Any ideas? Thanks.Image

I did mine (doorcards, side panels, upper panels, etc) using embossed vinyl, easy to wipe clean.

Embossed vinyl - is that slightly padded?
